Baby-faced singer-songwriter Gabe Lopez has been most widely known as an American Idol's best friend: He produced Season 1 contestant Jim Verraros' unrelentingly catchy Rollercoaster CD (as well as its infectious club hit, "You Turn It On"), and now he's working with former Idol wannabe and Coca-Cola vocalist Angela Peel on her rock debut. more....

James Brown, the Godfather of Soul, had chosen two of Gabe's songs to record - "Rock Me" and "Security." Sadly, Mr. Brown passed away on Christmas Day, 2006, just two weeks before he was set to start recording the two songs and finish recording his album. Mr. Brown said of Gabe, "Mr. Lopez gets the funk. He gives us hope for the future of music."

LA Recording Artist Gabe Lopez debuted his long-awaited CD "This Is About You" on January 19th at the Roxy nightclub on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood during an exciting live performance before a capacity crowd.

The new 17 song CD features fan favorites that Gabe has been playing in LA clubs which has earned him rave reviews as one of the top new music performers of 2005, as well as new cuts that will thrill his fans and attract new listeners to Gabe's music.

"This Is About You" is available at retail stores as well as online from Amazon.com, CDbaby.com, and will be available soon at the iTunes Music Store.

The album, Rollercoaster, was released on April 26, 2005.
The first single, "You Turn It On," climbed steadily to #21 on the Billboard Hot Club Dance Chart.  The second single, "You're Getting Crazy," was released on October 4, 2005 to favorable reviews in Billboard Magazine.  Gabe's artist Angela Peel, featured in the new Coke commercials, co-wrote four of the album's songs, including the two singles.

Tyler Hilton's debut album was recently released through Maverick Records.  Gabe sings back-up on the first single, "When It Comes."

Gabe's song from "This is About You" debuts during NBC coverage of the Summer Olympic Games.

Triniti's album RaggaHop was just released in Japan and is almost GOLD!  Check out "Fields of Brown Sugar," penned by Gabey and Trini (available on iTunes as well).
