Gabe Lopez

Steeped in classic artists like The Beatles and Stevie Wonder, and contemporaries like Sheryl Crow - GABE LOPEZ has recently been heard with his blend of rock-pop-r&b flavored music at THE ROXY, THE HOUSE OF BLUES, THE VIPER ROOM, THE MINT, and THE DERBY.


Self-taught in piano, guitar and bass, trained in opera, classical theory and jazz, GABE LOPEZ was voted by Music Connection Magazine as one of LA’s hot 100 Unsigned Artists. 


In 2007 his debut Album “This is About You” premiered featuring several breakout singles including club favorite “Red Queen” and introduced his music to new listeners in countries around the world in addition to supplying a fresh set of hits to his fans stateside.


His song “Sunday Summertime” was featured on NBC for their Olympics coverage and “Red Queen” has been featured in a variety of TV and in-store outlets.


This Summer, Gabe released his follow-up album “Shine Like the Sun”.  His sophomore release features the dance-rock songs "Boomerang," “Saboteur” and “Hand Over Hand” as well as “Shine Like the Sun” – a lush ballad with an upright piano, strings and an intimate vocal – one of the album’s highlights.  Production tricks abound but only add to the well-crafted songs.


He recently produced and co-wrote the debut album from Jim Verraros - American Idol Top Ten Finalist, including the hit dance single “You Turn It On” (#21 on the Billboard Dance Chart).  He also co-wrote a song for Triniti’s new album RaggaHop (Gold in Japan) and is currently working with Angela Peel - the new “Coca-Cola Girl”


Gabe continues to produce and write original songs for many popular artists in addition to performing his own music.
